Hello beautiful people!

So sitting on my bed and just thinking...
What is the reason for "hating"?
Thats one question that will never be answered.

Its sad how someone will change how they feel about you because of what you have gained or  accomplished. There's no reason to be mad at that person. I am currently in a predicament where people feel like I am a threat or just feel like they have to bring me down because I'm blooming. We are all different. No one is alike. If we were it would be no point of this life. We wouldnt be able to learn from one another.

I enjoy learning from others. Especialy fellow hairstylists who do what I love and have no problems showing me. I feel like if we dont continue to teach other there will be nothing left for those to follow.
As I get older, I realized that networking is a must in this industry.
In this world.

I love the fact that if I am in another state, I can just simply log on to twitter and look up a friend and go visit them and sit down and talk like Ive known them forever. We're able to share experiences together, what we've been through, what not to do and so on.
I LOVE IT!
I have made alot of friends and I have a really huge heart.
I just believe that if you continue to surround yourself with people who share your interest you will continue to grow.
Flock with wolves you'll learn to growl like them.
Fly high with eagles and you'll soar with them.

Until we meet again,

YOURS TRULY,

;)

WEAVES, WEAVES, & MORE WEAVES!

As a stylist, weaves are a very important style.
You can create any style with a weave.

They can last for a few weeks or even longer. It all depends on how you care for your weave. Weaves can help make your hair grow.  I know from experience. I had gotten a haircut which was too short for me and I couldn’t get used to the look. From that moment on, I have been sticking to weaves like white on rice. J

Here are some pointers when it comes to weaves:

If this is your first time, do not be afraid of what your stylist has to offer. She/he is your stylist for a reason. TRUST THEM.
Consult with your stylist. Bring pictures. ASK QUESTIONS!!
Be very clear of the look you want and the look you want to achieve.
Decide whether you want a full weave or partial. There is a difference.
While be prepped for a weave make sure that you get a deep conditioner. This helps by adding moisture to your hair.
Make sure that your hair is secure. By secure I mean tight enough where it holds but not too tight where your hair is pulling and damaging the scalp.
Too much tension around the edges can pull your hair out and also cause thinning and balding (alopecia).
While maintaining a weave, you can still have your hair shampooed and styled.

NEVER ATTEMPT TO TAKE OUT AN WEAVE BY YOURSELF IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
ALWAYS return to your stylist when taking apart your weave.
Make sure that they shampoo your hair clean, give a deep/ hydrating conditioner (your choice) and a trim.

Weaves are costly but they are worth it. It relieves your hair from all the stress of heat and chemicals. If you stick with these routines you will see a lot of growth. I have a lot of clients who have seen growth with the outcome of sticking to weaves.
See below for pictures!

ENJOY!
